In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and in a historic step in its continuous development journey, Tamooh Sports Management Company signed an academic agreement with Kingdom University, to offer academic scientific programs for cadres working in the sports field, which establishes a new era of its general policy towards empowering youth, creating new job opportunities in sports institutions and clubs, and providing all appropriate means of support for them.
The signing of the agreement was witnessed by His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Abdul Latif bin Jalal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tamooh Sports Management Company, along with His Excellency Professor Dr. Hassan bin Rifdan Al-Hajjooj, President of the University, at a ceremony held at the Swiss Hotel in Seef District, and attended by a group of officials from both sides and a large number of journalists and media personnel.




Youth Empowerment Policy
Commenting on this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Abdul Latif bin Jalal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tamouh Sports Management Company, said: The project is in line with the youth empowerment policy in the sports system, and aims to create promising and suitable job opportunities that contribute to advancing Bahraini sports in general, and open up broad horizons for it, to achieve more degrees of advancement and excellence, stressing that this vision, which serves the public interest, will double the efforts of “Tamooh” towards providing quality services for sports in the Kingdom.
He added: In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, we were keen to conclude this qualitative academic agreement, which will provide new opportunities for athletes wishing to join the system, according to modern scientific programs that are needed. It is an idea that basically encourages clubs to work in an organized manner, and makes them capable in the future of empowering themselves and performing the noble mission for which they were created. He indicated that “Tamooh” will spare no effort in order to enhance its presence in the aspect of building and advancing the reality of sports in Bahrain, which is a vision inspired by the visions of our wise leadership. Bin Jalal pointed out that the positive thing is that this agreement comes at the right time, which coincides with the launch of the new and expressive identity of the Tamouh Training and Development Center, which was able in a short period to train more than 500 trainees of both genders in the administrative and sports fields, with modern and required scientific programs, stressing that this unique cooperation with the University of the Kingdom represents a pioneering step on the path of community partnership in general, which serves a vital and influential sector such as the sports sector in particular.
Mohammed Bin Jalal expressed his thanks and appreciation to the President of the University of the Kingdom, Professor Hassan bin Rifdan Al-Hajhouj, and his worthy and important initiative in partnership with Tamouh in this agreement, which will serve in the long term a large base of Bahraini youth working in sports institutions from all federations and clubs, praising the university’s well-thought-out steps aimed at empowering and caring for youth, and providing them with the best means of support.




An important qualitative leap
For his part, His Excellency Professor Hassan bin Rifdan Al-Hajooj, President of the Kingdom University, said: This important agreement comes with a qualitative leap that complements the march of Bahraini sports, which will serve the next generation strongly, and according to urgent and necessary programs on the path to the sports industry and professionalism, pointing out the importance of this agreement that came with the leading and well-known “Tamooh” company in its fertile sports field.
He added: We are happy with this distinguished step in the march of the university, and we confirm that the partnership with “Tamooh” will bear strong fruits in the long term, as sports today has become an industry, and in many important programs, whether administrative, technical, marketing and many others, and therefore it has become imperative for our vision to be in line with the vision of the sports leadership in the Kingdom, reflecting the mutual keenness to create promising opportunities for Bahraini youth, and to drive the wheel of advancement of sports institutions.
Professor Hassan bin Rifdan Al-Hajjouj, President of the Kingdom University, expressed his deep thanks to His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Abdullatif bin Jalal, to Tamouh Company, for his constructive and continuous role in supporting the progress of the sports system, and launching a package of purposeful initiatives, including this agreement that came through the efforts and agreement of both parties, stressing that they are keen to set the general outlines of this “partnership” at the earliest opportunity, to keep pace with their persistent aspirations towards this remarkable project with its huge and expected results in the future.
