Bahrain’s Tumooh Ole team had a wonderful five-day trip to Spain, where the efforts of the players and the technical and administrative staff culminated in winning the Silver Cup in the Bernice International Tournament, amid strong competition from various academies and clubs from around the world.

The team faced stiff competition during their journey in the tournament, where they finished third in the group stage, which made them qualify to participate in the Silver Category Cup, through which they managed to overcome the semi-final stage, then the semi-final stage after achieving two consecutive victories over Argentine and Spanish academies, to reach the final match to face the French academy. Despite the physical advantage that favored the French, our players’ will, skill, mentality, and fighting spirit enabled them to win the thrilling 2-0 victory and claim the title.

Through this participation, Tumooh Ole wrote its name in golden letters in the history of the Bernice Championship, becoming the first Arab team to achieve the championship title after 24 editions. This remarkable historical achievement comes as a result of the great support and continuous follow-up of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tumooh Sports Management Company, His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Abdullatif Bin Jalal, and all members of the Board of Directors, in addition to the efforts of the players, technical and administrative staff of the team.

The tournament has been held annually since 2000, and has witnessed the participation of many prestigious clubs such as Liverpool, River Plate, and Porto, in addition to a group of distinguished players such as former Real Madrid and current Paris Saint-Germain player Marco Asensio, former Barcelona player Marc Bartra, and other stars on the European and international level.
